Pictures - Volunteers

Here are a few pictures of our wonderful volunteers. As we near the end of our first year of serving monthly free dinners, we have had a total of almost 30 volunteers assisting. Many of our volunteers are there for every dinner we serve.

Manager of Kitchen Operations Monty Schroeder and the VolunTeam from Central Illinois Bank. The CIB ladies are at every dinner.

Suze mans the stove. She and new husband Luke are mainstays in the kitchen.

Bill has assisted with deliveries at every meal. He often brings his granddaughter Payton to help him out.

Another of our delivery volunteers, Carol Rietz. She loves to needle Lane, and he loves to needle her. "That's what friends do," Carol says.

Perry is our handyman and all-around Get It Done man. Set up, clean up, tear down... it doesn't matter to Perry. He'll get it done.

Rick (left) and Monty on the grill. Over the summer they cooked about a half-ton of meat on that grill, never once complaining about the heat.

From left - Kathy, our Sink Specialist, Monty, Lori, Laurie and Rick.

Another shot of Uber Volunteers Perry and Bill.

Rick helps Volunteer Coordinator Glenda Ford-Baldwin with her new cell phone. "See, you just hit that button right there with a hammer, and it'll be fine!"
