BIGGER!
- BETTER! - MORE!
The
second annual Foodstock Fall Festival is rapidly approaching.
This year, we are very proud to welcome El Toro Restaurante
Mexicano as our event sponsor. We very much appreciate their
support, because it means that every penny and every pea we
collect will go directly to the benefactor of our event - the
Danville Area Food Pantry.
This
time around, we hope to raise TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
in food and monetary donations in support of the Danville Area
Food Pantry. The pantry is always stretched thin, but this year
it's almost transparent! Food pantry director Chuck Brooks tells
us that the economy is putting a serious strain on many more
area families. That means the pantry needs to fill it's shelves
more than every before. And that's why we're going to work even
harder this year to help them out.
MUSICAL
ENTERTAINMENT
As
always, the program is 100% Family-Friendly, featuring many
of the area's finest musicians. This year's performers will
include:
12:15
- Eva Hunter
- a gifted vocalist and songwriter, Eva is one of the top Country
artists in the Illiana area.
1:15
- Stone Crik Bluegrass Band

2:15
- Steve Rodman & Friends - Steve
offers an outstanding John Denver tribute featuring all of John's
biggest hits.
3:15

- cool jazz from an all-star line-up of local jazz greats.
4:15

- Foodstock founder Lane will serve as co-MC, and will bring
the full band for the concert.
5:15

- a Very Special Guest, Rick is taking time on his way home
to Los Alnegles (from Canada) to stop in Danville to present
a set of Classic Rock, with Lane on Bass, and Very Special Guest
Danny Berton (from Ohio) on drums. Rick has toured, recorded
